Adult Religious Education

Religious Education, or Religious Exploration, is not just for children and youth.  Here at First Parish we are working to enrich our Adult Religious Education offerings.
Please contact us with any ideas you have for programs and activities that you would like to see offered.

Under development
As we approach the fall we'll be exploring a variety of new Religious Exploration opportunities at First Parish.  If you're interested in helping, or have ideas, please contact Allison Gammons.

Some Programing Thoughts:

We are looking at starting some new programs, and are looking to find those who might be interested.
1) A book group
2) a film discussion series
3) A Young Adult geared regular gathering.
Please  contact us if you are interested in participating, or helping to plan, any of these activities!

LIFE LONG LEARNING GOALS:
  • To create a religious community of children, youth, parents, and other adults at First Parish.
  • To provide a cohesive, comprehensive curriculum of religious education for children and youth from birth through high school that conveys the essential values, heritage, and sources of the living tradition of Unitarian Universalism.
  • To train, support, and recognize parents as religious educators in the contexts of home, work, church, and community.
  • In cooperation with the Life Long Learning Council, to support First Parish in providing high quality programs that enhance religious education for all ages, including children's and intergenerational worship, youth programs, and intergenerational activities.
  • To have fun.
