Our night at the Wayside Soup Kitchen is always the fourth Tuesday. Cooks meet at 3:30 p.m.; Servers meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Kitchen on Oxford Street in Portland.
Join us!
Help us fulfill our joint volunteer commitment (with Allen Avenue UU) in cooking and serving the meal at Wayside. Cooks and servers are needed for both timeslots. Please make space of a few hours out of your month. Join the warmth and compansionship of fellow servers and keep your faith in action.

This is a new weekly group that meets to explore mindfulness and meditation. Each week we’ll start with meditation instruction for people new to the practice, followed by a group sit and then discussion. The focus will be on cultivating awareness and living in the present moment.
